Over the summer of 2012, Field Trips organized seven unique excursions
throughout Berlin serving as platforms for collective exploration
and knowledge sharing. Each week the itinerant lecture series visited with
residents of Berlin in their homes, their places of work, and other
unconventional settings for a variety of intimate talks. Meandering through
main streets, side streets, bike paths, and dirt roads, participants
cycled from one site to the next, over the two-month period eventually having
traveled through each of the city's twelve distinct boroughs.
